As a Laboratory Service Engineer 3 - RF Systems within the Global Products Group, you will support and advance RF and plasma technology development in an R&D lab environment. What you'll do

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of RF, electrical, electromechanical, and vacuum equipment.
Assemble, test, and diagnose high-power, high-voltage RF subsystems including matching networks and sensors.
Conduct system-level to PCBA-level failure analysis, including board validation and SMD rework.
Utilize advanced instrumentation like VNAs, oscilloscopes, and power meters for RF characterization.
Repair mechanical, electrical, fluidic, and vacuum-based subsystems in semiconductor processing equipment.
Support prototype installation, bring-up, and validation while developing technical documentation and test plans.
Manage laboratory infrastructure including equipment calibration tracking, inventory control, and sample management.
Ensure safe operation of high-voltage systems and hazardous materials following cleanroom and ESD protocols.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
An Associate's degree in a technical field or military training with 4+ years of hands-on experience.
Equivalent industry experience supporting RF, electrical, or semiconductor equipment in an R&D or lab environment.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing high-power RF subsystems, matching networks, and vacuum systems.
Proficiency using laboratory instrumentation such as VNAs, oscilloscopes, power meters, and digital multimeters.
Ability to perform board-level failure analysis, functional testing, and SMD rework.
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, plasma processing tools, or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Ability to work in cleanroom environments while following safety protocols for high-voltage systems and hazardous materials.
