Lab Engineer II

What you'll do

• Lead a team of technicians in the assembly and testing of phased array antenna panels.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for panel assembly and testing processes.
• Ensure the readiness and maintenance of lab infrastructure and test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test efficiency and resolve technical failures.
• Develop and maintain scalable operational processes for hardware integration and verification.
• Manage the storage, processing, and distribution of required components to internal customers.
• Identify and eliminate customer pain points through proactive communication and service.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware development, test labs, space/aerospace maintenance, or hands-on engineering environments.
• Experience using common electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
• Experience managing lab resources, equipment, and supplies.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with vector network analyzers (preferred).
• Experience using Python for data acquisition and visualization (preferred).
• Experience with phased array antenna testing, RF theory, and troubleshooting wireless devices to the component level (preferred).
