Lab Systems Engineer, Silicon Bring-Up & Automation Platforms

What you'll do

• Lead the bring-up of new SoCs and boards from first power-on through validation sign-off.
• Debug hardware, software, and test infrastructure issues using scopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers.
• Build and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and automation for lab visibility and device health.
• Develop shared instrumentation libraries and APIs to integrate lab hardware into a coherent platform.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes infrastructure to support distributed validation and reduce manual toil.
• Build AI/ML based tools and predictive models to accelerate data analysis and track power utilization.
• Automate network configurations and instrument tracking to manage lab environments at scale.
• Design scalable data pipelines for the collection, storage, and visualization of global validation data.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of experience (preferred).
• Strong Python fundamentals and the ability to build production-quality internal tools, APIs, and services (preferred).
• Direct experience with silicon bring-up, hardware validation, and register-level debug (preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation such as scopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers (preferred).
• Experience with databases, file systems, object storage, and network automation (preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted development, ML pipelines, and statistical modeling for data analysis (preferred).
