JOB TITLE: Junior SDET, Senior Associate
The Junior SDET, Senior Associate joins the Quality Assurance Infrastructure team to build and support platforms, tools, and automation for deploying, testing, and validating products across multiple environments. This role involves supporting CI/CD pipelines, provisioning environments, and automating manual operational processes. You will develop scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash and assist with Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible. Key responsibilities include supporting cloud-hosted environments in Microsoft Azure, troubleshooting infrastructure failures, and integrating automated test suites into pipelines. The position requires skills in Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps. You will solve technical problems related to environment management, release engineering, and observability while ensuring software quality through smoke, regression, and functional testing within an Agile software development lifecycle.
Support CI/CD pipelines for application builds, deployments, and automated validations.
Provision and configure environments across development, QA, UAT, and pre-production stages.
Automate manual deployment, provisioning, and operational processes using scripts.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
Manage cloud-hosted environments in Microsoft Azure and perform routine troubleshooting.
Integrate automated test suites and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
Investigate test failures to identify infrastructure, data, or application issues.
Create and maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
1-3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud operations, system administration, infrastructure engineering, software engineering, or quality engineering.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell.
Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts.
Foundational knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and SSL certificates.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Foundational understanding of smoke, functional, regression, and automated testing.
Hands-on exposure to Terraform and Ansible (preferred).
Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or another entry-level cloud certification (preferred).
Experience using Jira and Confluence (preferred).
Knowledge of API testing fundamentals (preferred).
Limited exposure to tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or REST Assured (preferred).
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry (preferred).
