What you'll do

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems for infrastructure management.
Create Python and Bash scripts to automate system builds, deployments, and tool development.
Perform Linux system administration across the full lifecycle from bare metal to production deployment.
Manage containerized environments using Podman or Docker technologies.
Configure network settings including VLANs, IP schemes, and switch configurations.
Provision physical hardware and manage virtual machine lifecycles using VMware and KVM.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for configuration management at scale.
Deploy and maintain mission-critical systems across multiple sites and air-gapped environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Deep experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems.
Strong skills in Python scripting, automation, and Bash/Shell script orchestration.
Proficiency in Linux system administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and container technologies like Podman or Docker.
Knowledge of network configuration, hardware provisioning, and virtual machine lifecycle management.
