What you'll do

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems for infrastructure management.
Create Python and Bash scripts to automate system tasks and manage complex build orchestrations.
Perform full lifecycle Linux system administration from bare metal to production deployment across multiple environments.
Manage container technologies including Podman/Docker builds and orchestration.
Configure network settings such as VLANs, IP schemes, and switch configurations.
Execute physical hardware provisioning using PXE boot and kickstart processes.
Manage virtual machine lifecycles across VMware and KVM platforms.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and manage CI/CD build automation pipelines.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
2+ years of proven experience in Software Engineering.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Deep experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, custom plugins, and inventory systems.
Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation and Bash/Shell scripting for system automation.
Experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), container technology (Podman/Docker), and virtual machine lifecycle management.
Knowledge of network configuration, hardware provisioning, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
