What you'll do

  • Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Create and maintain full-scale testing architecture plans and system designs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
  • Review code and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality output.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for application deployment.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term technical solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-8 years of professional software development experience (or 2-6 years with a Master's Degree).
  • Strong backend development experience using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability.
  • Experience with automated testing including end-to-end, regression, and integration testing.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) (preferred).
