J.P. Morgan Wealth Management - Senior Product Associate, Account Opening and Activation serves as an AI-forward contributor within the product management team to deliver a seamless self-directed account opening experience for clients and advisors. You will manage the product backlog by writing stories and acceptance criteria while championing the use of AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to accelerate workflows, prototype concepts, and build knowledge repositories. The role involves collaborating with designers, architects, and technology teams in an Agile environment to translate strategy into actionable deliverables. You will conduct requirement sessions, manage sprint planning using data-driven insights, and oversee release coordination. Key skills include experience with AI-augmented workflows, prompt engineering, and product management within the wealth management or brokerage domain to solve complex problems related to account opening flows.
Manage the account opening product backlog by writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
Utilize AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate product workflows and prototype concepts.
Build and maintain AI-powered knowledge repositories to document requirements and platform information.
Conduct requirement sessions with stakeholders to identify pain points and business impacts for account flows.
Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies to manage backlog health, epic delivery, and release coordination.
Collaborate with Tech Architects to evaluate architectural impacts and contribute to strategic solutioning.
Use data and AI-driven insights to inform prioritization and sprint planning.
Translate product strategy into actionable deliverables for the multi-year product roadmap.
What we're looking for
3–5 years of product management or product ownership experience with a strong analytical background.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI productivity tools to build documentation, knowledge bases, prototype concepts, or accelerate delivery workflows.
Experience working closely with UX designers and software engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Ability to work in high ambiguity while organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience with self-directed brokerage, investment account opening, or wealth management digital platforms (preferred).
Track record of contributing to AI-augmented workflows, knowledge management systems, rapid prototyping, or intelligent documentation (preferred).
Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, or AI-driven product analytics (preferred).
