What you'll do

• Develop new aircraft designs for the Omen hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle.
• Execute engineering tasks at high velocity to fly new designs within months.
• Define scope and requirements for ill-defined technical problems.
• Perform engineering duties autonomously in a lean, high-ownership environment.
• Integrate propulsion, fluids, aerodynamics, or structural systems into the aircraft platform.
• Manage the development of autonomous systems using advanced AI and sensor fusion.
• Maintain and uphold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

What we're looking for

• Hold a BS degree or higher in engineering or applied physics with a focus in structures.
• Be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously without supervision as a self-starter.
• Possess strong organizational skills to establish scope and requirements for ill-defined problems.
• Be available to work on-site at the Costa Mesa headquarters.
