What you'll do

Lead the analysis, design, and programming of application systems for cross-asset margin requirements.
Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation to ensure architectural alignment.
Manage a team of developers and analysts by allocating work and providing technical coaching.
Oversee software quality, system modifications, and the planning and execution of production releases.
Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes and industry standards.
Design and deploy hardware, software, and network infrastructure in coordination with the technology team.
Ensure all systems comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.

What we're looking for

6-10 years of relevant experience in an Applications Development role with hands-on coding.
Demonstrated thought leadership in designing complex and distributed systems.
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring, Kafka, and Distributed Cache/Systems like Apache Ignite.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.
Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB (preferred).
Experience with Python (preferred).
Experience with microservices architecture, API first design, and cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Understanding of risk calculation models like VaR/SIMM and ability to work with a Quant team (preferred).
