IT Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Deploy and manage new IT infrastructure including networking, servers, and desktop hardware for mission-critical networks.
• Perform periodic system upgrades and patches during off-peak hours or weekends.
• Monitor IT services and respond aggressively to incidents to maintain system performance.
• Author and maintain technical documentation, including system overviews, design drawings, and procedures.
• Utilize automation tools and contribute to IT systems engineering efforts.
• Ensure all systems comply with industry and cybersecurity standards such as ITAR, ISO, and NIST.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
• Experience with enterprise network administration and deployment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements.
• Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.
• Valid driver's license, ability to lift 30lbs, and ability to work at heights.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, scripting (Bash/Powershell/Python), automation frameworks, and virtualization platforms (preferred).
