IT Security Officer

What you'll do

• Process user access requests for additions, modifications, and removals according to established security protocols.
• Administer and verify user IDs, entitlements, roles, and security group memberships.
• Provision access to applications that are not fully automated or integrated with enterprise platforms.
• Maintain audit-ready records of approvals, actions, evidence, and resolutions.
• Support periodic access reviews, entitlement cleanup, and orphaned account remediation.
• Use PowerShell and other scripting tools to automate tasks, validate data, and generate reports.
• Monitor work queues and escalate requests that lack necessary information or authorizations.
• Coordinate the remediation of security configurations to ensure compliance with policy requirements.

What we're looking for

• Three or more years of experience in security administration, identity and access management, user provisioning, technology operations, or a comparable control-focused function.
• Working knowledge of identity lifecycle management, privileged access, role-based access control, segregation of duties, and access certification.
• Experience using identity governance, service-management, or access request platforms such as SailPoint or ServiceNow.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience administering RACF within an IBM z/OS environment.
• Ability to use PowerShell and other scripting tools for data validation, reporting, and automation (preferred).
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, batch scripting, or other automation tools (preferred).
• Strong communication skills to explain access requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability for shift coverage and on-call support.
