As an Information Systems Security Officer, you will support an information assurance program by proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing security policies, standards, and methodologies. You will maintain the operational security posture of systems, perform day-to-day operations, and evaluate solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information. Your daily work involves performing vulnerability and risk assessment analysis for certification, accreditation, and configuration management of hardware, software, and firmware. You will manage system changes, assess impacts, and prepare critical documentation including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and C&A packages. Required expertise includes XACTA IA Manager, RMF, JSIG, ICD 503, DAAPM, and NISPOM. You must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and a DoD 8570 IAM Level I Certification to manage security for national security information systems.
