What you'll do

  • Write and maintain all documentation required for the Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
  • Coordinate with IT security and engineering teams to gather information for ATO documentation.
  • Perform, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software Information Assurance problems.
  • Collect and analyze data from CND tools, including firewall, network traffic, and host system logs.
  • Develop and implement security policies for data, systems, networks, and web operations.
  • Brief leadership on security matters and develop risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
  • Track and monitor software viruses across the enterprise environment.
  • Provide direct security support to business and IT staff for technical issues.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in project leadership monitoring computer networks and resolving cybersecurity incidents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or a relevant computer-based major.
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Security (Certification is preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience with past ATO processes in an AWS environment for a large agency.
  • 4+ years of experience with the ATO process, FedRAMP, CIS, and ISO 27001.
  • Solid understanding of NIST Standards, ICAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience documenting security incidents, performing vulnerability assessments, and working with Agile/SAFe teams.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (preferred).
