Direct Payments Tech Program Manager Quality Lead Senior Vice President

What you'll do

• Provide project leadership and mentorship to scrum teams within the CitiDirect Payments division.
• Lead the planning and execution of major development initiatives and large-scale projects.
• Manage requirements gathering, documentation, and tracking for dependent teams in partnership with product owners.
• Oversee JIRA hygiene, ensuring accurate dates, status updates, and high-quality data entry.
• Implement AI tools to capture requirements, manage tracking, and automate the conversion of user stories into test cases.
• Partner with QA leads to define automation framework scope and ensure clean delivery through end-to-end testing.
• Manage scrum masters to ensure development teams only receive fully groomed JIRA tickets.
• Identify and manage project escalations early in the development process to mitigate risks.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, technical project management, or quality assurance within the financial industry.
• Extensive experience with JIRA and program tracking methodologies.
• Proven track record of leading successful software projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong communication skills to bridge discussions between technical and non-technical partners.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of testing practices (preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (preferred).
• Solid understanding of the payments industry, including various payment systems and processes (preferred).
