As a Core Cash Fraud Prevention Product Manager - Payments - Vice President, you will join the team responsible for innovating new product offerings and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. You will lead the design and implementation of a Global Fraud Consortium data platform to improve detection rules and algorithms for core cash payment channels like Wires, ACH, RTP, and emerging methods. Your daily work involves developing product strategies, managing backlogs using Agile methodologies in JIRA, and collaborating with data science teams to deploy machine learning models. You will utilize SQL, Swagger, SOAP, XML, and JSON to build scalable solutions while ensuring compliance with regional regulations across US, EMEA, and APAC regions. The role focuses on solving complex fraud patterns and attack vectors within the banking payment domain using ISO 20022 standards.
Lead the design and implementation of a Global Fraud Consortium data platform to improve detection rules for core payment channels.
Develop product strategies and visions that align customer value with business objectives and risk appetite.
Conduct market research, threat analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform the product roadmap.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Agile methodologies to support strategic goals.
Track key success metrics including cost, fraud detection effectiveness, and false positive rates.
Analyze fraud trends and attack vectors to enhance detection capabilities while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Partner with data science teams to develop and deploy machine learning models for fraud prevention.
Ensure all product features comply with regional regulatory requirements and maintain proper audit trails.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
Minimum 3 years of Financial Technology experience with deep understanding of Banking Payment Domain including Wires, ACH, RTP, and ISO 20022 standards.
Extensive experience working with fraud detection systems, patterns, typologies, and attack vectors in payment ecosystems.
Proven experience designing and implementing payment and fraud prevention solutions.
Strong proficiency in Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA to write user stories following INVEST principles.
Experience with API design, contract definition (Swagger), and web service protocols such as SOAP, XML, and JSON.
SQL and database scripting capabilities with the ability to analyze large datasets.
