Senior Principal Payment Tech Development Manager

What you'll do

• Direct the end-to-end design, development, testing, and delivery of contact/contactless chip technologies and mobile payments.
• Lead the development of functional and security requirements, test plans, and tools for D-PAS card and wallet validations.
• Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing engineering organization while designing team structures to support technology roadmaps.
• Define architectural specifications and serve as the final technical authority for product technology and security features.
• Manage high-value relationships with external vendors, including chip manufacturers, test laboratories, and mobile developers.
• Represent the organization in global standardization bodies to influence future payment specifications and standards.
• Proactively identify systemic risks and technical bottlenecks to design and lead executive-level mitigation strategies.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 6 years of payment technology research and development experience.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal or external business clients.
• At least 4 years of people management and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology (preferred).
• Experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced corporate environment (preferred).
• Experience leading large-scale deployment projects involving EMV payments systems, mobile payment technologies, and secure elements (preferred).
• Deep understanding of EMV Functional and EMV Security requirements (preferred).
