JOB TITLE: Internship- Imaging product engineer
The Imaging Engineering Intern joins a collaborative engineering team to support imaging product engineering activities focused on computational lithography and advanced scanner technologies. In this role, you will evaluate advanced deep ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet imaging concepts, perform feasibility studies, and contribute to software solutions for complex semiconductor manufacturing challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include modeling, simulation, and data analysis to support investigations, performing prototype testing, and developing software functionality to meet product specifications. You will create technical documentation and communicate findings to various engineering teams. Required skills include a background in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or optical engineering, along with experience in imaging, lithography, or software development. Technical proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming environments is required, with preferred exposure to machine learning and optimization methods.
Conduct feasibility studies related to advanced DUV and EUV imaging technologies.
Support computational lithography investigations through modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
Perform prototype testing and generate technical data to evaluate imaging concepts and software features.
Develop and enhance software functionality that meets customer requirements and product specifications.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and engineering reports.
Analyze simulation results and communicate findings to engineering teams.
What we're looking for
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Optical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Must be a junior, senior, or graduate-level student.
Experience through coursework, research, academic projects, or internships related to imaging, lithography, simulation, software development, or data analysis.
Familiarity with technical computing tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar programming environments.
Exposure to machine learning, optimization methods, scientific computing, or data analytics is preferred.
