The Integrated Technologies Consultant II - CareAware Device Integration serves as an individual contributor within the consulting team. This role involves implementing software products in healthcare and technology environments by delivering functional and technical solutions for moderately complex customer engagements. The consultant will perform technical troubleshooting and problem-solving to integrate medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and laboratory analyzers. Key responsibilities include navigating clinical workflows in units like the ICU and ED while utilizing Linux platforms, SQL, relational databases, and networking principles like DNS and TCP connections. The position requires a deep understanding of CareAware architecture to solve specific technical problems within healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless device integration and data flow across various clinical departments and medical equipment.
Implement software products within healthcare and technology environments.
Deliver functional and technical solutions for moderately complex customer engagements.
Integrate medical devices such as anesthesia carts, ventilators, and infusion pumps.
Troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to software and hardware.
Manage data using SQL, relational databases, and query-based languages.
Apply networking principles including DNS and TCP connections to ensure connectivity.
Navigate Linux platforms and other related technologies to support system operations.
Execute on-site tasks at customer locations as required by travel demands.
What we're looking for
At least 6 total years of combined higher education and related work experience implementing software products in healthcare/technology environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Business, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field of study.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Willingness to travel up to 80% as needed.
Experience with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers (preferred).
Understanding of clinical workflows in areas of healthcare facilities such as ED, ICU, Med Surg, Laboratory, and Perioperative units (preferred).
1 year of technical troubleshooting and problem solving (preferred).
1 year of Linux platform knowledge, SQL, relational databases, or basic networking principles (preferred).
