Integrated Power Systems Hardware/Software, & Program/Project Engineers

What you'll do

• Design and analyze control systems using MATLAB and Simulink across time and frequency domains.
• Define system and component requirements using IBM Rational DOORS based on performance criteria.
• Perform motor drive and control system testing using model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop methods.
• Develop embedded software in languages such as C, C++, Assembly, or Java for propulsion components.
• Select commercial-off-the-shelf and custom components to support rapid prototyping and system functionality.
• Manage project schedules, costs, and workflows using Microsoft Project and EVMS metrics.
• Document test cases, create testing plans, and prepare technical reports for external stakeholders.
• Coordinate material orders and lead program reviews with internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Post-graduate engineering experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Advanced engineering degrees are preferred.
• Prior experience in the defense sector with prime contracts or R&D efforts is preferred.
• Project lead experience is preferred.
• A currently held DoD Secret or TS security clearance is preferred.
