TL;DR · Infrastructure Engineering

Infrastructure Engineering serves as a Senior DevOps and Automation Engineering role focused on infrastructure provisioning across AWS, Azure, and OCI environments. The engineer will act as the lead for event management systems using Splunk and the MLOps solution powered by Data Robot. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code practices to automate observability stacks, creating web interfaces and APIs for platform operations, and developing integrations between messaging platforms and customers. The role requires proficiency in Terraform, Packer, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting. Candidates will build systems integrated with ServiceNow to automate operational tasks while managing the full software lifecycle. This position addresses complex infrastructure challenges by automating deployment pipelines and transitioning legacy applications toward modern technologies like Databricks and Snowflake within a multi-cloud environment involving SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services.

What you'll do

  • Provision infrastructure for application teams using Terraform, Packer, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm across AWS, Azure, and OCI environments.
  • Serve as the lead engineer for event management systems including monitoring, alerting, and notifications via Splunk.
  • Act as the lead platform engineer for the organization's MLOps solution running on Data_robot.
  • Automate and standardize observability infrastructure stacks by designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and create web interfaces/APIs for infrastructure operations.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Build integrations between messaging platforms and customers using various queueing services.
  • Create custom applications, tables, and catalogs in ServiceNow to automate operational tasks and integrate with ticket management systems.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or related role in public clouds, DevOps, Automation, and CI/CD/CT technologies.
  • Alternatively, hold a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or related role in public clouds, DevOps, Automation, and CI/CD/CT technologies.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with multi-cloud technologies including AWS and Azure, along with virtual services such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • Possess a strong practical understanding of Linux, Unix, Windows Operating Systems, and associated governance and lifecycle management.
  • Experience using infrastructure tools like Terraform, Packer, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible for provisioning and automation.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other open-source DevOps tools.
  • Ability to write Python and Bash scripts for automating tasks and integrating with systems like ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical tasks to management and collaborate with various teams.
