What you'll do

Architect, design, implement, and deliver highly scalable authentication and session services using Java.
Build and evolve standards-based identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
Harden sessions and credentials against hijacking, replay, and phishing using token binding and refresh-token rotation.
Threat-model new features and remediate findings from penetration tests, bug bounties, and incident reviews.
Roll out security enforcement safely using feature flags, phased cohorts, and telemetry-driven decisions.
Develop test strategies and automation frameworks, including unit, functional, and abuse-case tests.
Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve authentication outages and security incidents in real time.
Use AI tools and advanced prompt engineering to build secure, optimized, and production-grade software.

What we're looking for

A related technical degree is required.
3+ years of professional software development experience is required.
5+ years of experience including ownership of production services is required for the Senior Level.
Strong Java and object-oriented design skills are required.
Hands-on experience with at least one of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML is required.
Working knowledge of applied cryptography, secure-coding fundamentals, and browser security models is required.
Experience in automated testing using Java, JUnit, and Selenium is required.
Advanced prompt engineering skills and a demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering are required.
