6+ years of experience building scalable, highly distributed, high performing, and robust Java applications.
Extensive Java / JEE programming experience with a focus on server-side components.
Proficient hands-on experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Java applications.
Extensive experience in developing Web applications and experience with the Spring framework.
Experience with open-source search engines like Solr, Lucene, or Elasticsearch.
Advanced scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell.
Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Hudson, or Maven.
Experience with Code Quality Governance tools like Sonar, Gerrit, PMD, or JIRA.
Experience with Source Code Management Tools like GitHub, SVN, or CVS.
Expertise with Apache, JBoss / Tomcat, Jetty, JMS, or other application servers.
Experience in the search domain (preferred).
Experience with big data methodologies involving Hive/Hadoop/Spark and knowledge of relational databases (preferred).
