ICAM Data Scientist

What you'll do

• Build identity-data quality and reconciliation analytics across MPI, APDS/Saviynt, and AD/Entra ID.
• Develop anomaly-detection and UEBA-style analytics on privileged-session and access logs.
• Build analytics, dashboards, and AI/ML models to monitor identity-data quality and privileged-access anomalies.
• Evaluate AI-assisted analytics use cases for access-anomaly detection, certification prioritization, and identity-risk scoring.
• Automate tasks and develop ways of working that allow agents and automated processes to assist operations.
• Support the migration from legacy ICAM systems that are highly complex and massively scaled.
• Generate KPI and AQL reporting for the ICAM program across every task area.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or applied data science.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience building dashboards or reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Splunk.
• Experience working with identity, access, or security telemetry such as SIEM or IAM/IGA logs.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics.
• Public Trust determination is required.
• Experience with the VA's MPI and Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred).
• Experience applying machine learning to identity or access anomaly detection, UEBA, or fraud or risk scoring (preferred).
