The HW Engineering Manager, Leo Hardware Development joins the hardware development team to lead the design, implementation, and validation of complex space-grade electronics for payload antenna systems. Lead the design, implementation, and validation of complex space-grade hardware electronics for payload antenna systems.
Manage, develop, and grow a team of engineers to deliver technical results.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations.
Create processes and mechanisms to ensure efficient execution on high-priority tasks.
Lead technical trades in PCB development, digital electronics, high-speed serial interfaces, and reliability.
Oversee the hardware development process for advanced antenna systems in space applications.
Ensure system integrity and performance through coordination with cross-functional teams.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of industrial experience in board level analog/digital design with large ASICs.
3+ years of experience in both a technical leading role and a management position.
5+ years of experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal integrity, and power integrity.
5+ years of experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
Experience with advanced CAD tools.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred); experience with space applications, NPI processes, and analog fundamentals (preferred).
