Linux/AWS Systems Administrator

What you'll do

• Perform Linux system administration tasks for classified government contracts.
• Maintain system reliability through installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Implement STIGs on Linux systems to ensure compliance with security guidelines.
• Manage file systems, disk space, and virus protection services.
• Provide backup and recovery services for multi-user computer systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of system processes and procedures.
• Maintain security audit logs for all classified networked and standalone computers.
• Resolve complex issues involving hardware, firmware, software, and network connectivity.

What we're looking for

• Must have a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a recent and current Polygraph adjudicated within the last 5 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.
• Must possess a Security+ CE certification or an equivalent IAT level II certification (e.g., CND, CCNA-Security).
• Experience with Linux Server Administration in a classified environment is required.
• Must have experience implementing STIGs on Linux systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining resources in an AWS cloud environment is needed.
• For Level 3: Master's with 3 years IT experience, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School with 9 years of experience.
• For Level 4: Master's with 5 years IT experience, Bachelor's with 7 years, Associate's with 9 years, or High School with 11 years of experience.
