What you'll do

Develop advanced sensing algorithms for products including Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Transition algorithmic solutions from initial research and concept stages into production-ready code.
Clean and analyze raw data to identify potential solutions for complex sensing challenges.
Build mathematical models using high-level languages like Python, MATLAB, or R.
Implement algorithms in C/C++ for embedded or resource-constrained systems.
Perform detailed analysis and validation of algorithms throughout the full product lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis to solve complex data processing and hardware-software integration issues.

What we're looking for

Experience in early-stage algorithm development using signal processing and machine learning from concept through validation.
Proficiency in programming with C/C++.
Ability to build mathematical models in Python, MATLAB, R, or similar high-level languages.
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
3 years of industry experience.
Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in EE, CS, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or another technical field is preferred.
Strong background in statistical signal processing, estimation/inference, and state-space models.
Strong engineering math background including applied linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
