Health Analytics Strategist

What you'll do

• Oversee the development of algorithms and systems to turn disparate data points into objective answers.
• Guide multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior analysts to strengthen cross-functional coordination and professional growth.
• Analyze CMS claims, administrative data, and Medicare program policies to solve complex healthcare challenges.
• Manage the full analytic lifecycle, including data workflows, quality assurance, and technical oversight.
• Use Python, SQL, and cloud environments like Databricks or Snowflake to implement AI-enabled data workflows.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to federal clients by aligning technical analysis with policy goals and narratives.
• Support business development by identifying client needs and shaping solution approaches for proposals.
• Access and join complex datasets from CMS repositories like IDR, CCW, and CDR.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience leading analytics or research projects within healthcare, Medicare, or federal program environments.
• Experience accessing and analyzing data leveraging CMS repositories such as IDR, CCW, and CDR.
• Experience accessing and joining data from CMS operational systems including FISS, MCS, CWF, EDB, CME, MARx, and MBSF.
• Experience monitoring, evaluating, or implementing complex Medicare program or payment policy using claims, encounter, or prescription drug data.
• Experience with Python and SQL in cloud analytic environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS.
• Experience contributing to business development efforts by supporting capture and proposal activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Bachelor’s degree.
