Advanced Analytics Consultant, Behavioral Health

What you'll do

• Analyze behavioral health and substance abuse data to identify trends and inform business decisions.
• Provide analytical insights to support the development of business solutions based on quality, use, and cost.
• Develop and refine analysis templates for problem diagnosis and opportunity assessment.
• Consult on the design and execution of tests, pilot programs, and new initiatives.
• Create targeting criteria and customer segmentation models based on clinical and operational inputs.
• Develop algorithms to identify and target specific member populations for services.
• Establish methodologies to measure clinical, utilization, and financial outcomes of programs.
• Author white papers and present research findings at industry conferences or in journal publications.

What we're looking for

• Requires an MS, MA, or PhD in a quantitative discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in related healthcare analytics.
• Requires the ability to work in-office 1-2 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to present meaningful results to a business audience and participate collaboratively in a team (preferred).
• Requires experience with developing analytics for segmentation or stratification in a major industry (preferred).
• Requires substantial experience analyzing data related to behavioral health factors and social determinants of health (preferred).
• Requires advanced SAS or SQL skills; Python, Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI/ML experience are also helpful (preferred).
