Senior Healthcare Data Analytics Consultant

What you'll do

• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets.
• Conduct trend, root cause, and statistical analyses to identify cost of care opportunities.
• Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to drive decision-making.
• Transform raw data into compelling visual stories and actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Validate findings by investigating business questions directly from raw data sources.
• Mentor and coach other metrics associates on data usage and technical skills.
• Provide strategic direction and technical consultation to others regarding data analytics.

What we're looking for

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a business or math-related field.
• Requires a minimum of 10 years of data collection and analysis experience.
• Requires experience in the health insurance industry.
• Requires advanced, hands-on SQL expertise to write and optimize complex queries (preferred).
• Requires strong hands-on Tableau experience to design and maintain dashboards (preferred).
• Requires a solid understanding of metric and statistical calculations (preferred).
• Requires the ability to clearly communicate and present analytical data to all levels of management (preferred).
• Requires advanced certifications in process improvement, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or ITIL (preferred).
