Hardware Engineering Technical Leader
As part of the Component Quality & Technology team within Global Supplier Management, you will serve as an expert guide in bringing next-generation interconnect components from concept to production. You will lead multi-functional teams to evaluate, down-select, and qualify connectors and interconnect components while partnering with suppliers to validate behavior through NPI. Your daily work involves ensuring signal integrity, mechanical robustness, and reliability for high-speed architectures in electronic systems. You will utilize expertise in materials, plating, fabrication processes, and PCB attach technologies to optimize connectivity pathways. Key technical competencies include tolerance analysis, failure analysis, SPC, FMEA, and Design of Experiments. The role requires proficiency in mechanical and electrical design principles to solve complex problems regarding signal integrity and thermal management while mentoring junior engineers and managing vendor relationships to ensure high-quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
