As a Senior Guidance Systems Engineer, you will join the Guidance Systems team to provide leadership during analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases of system development. You will perform critical tasks within the Advanced Guidance Lab, including supporting Internal Research & Development activities focused on inertial guidance, developing test equipment, and creating Position Navigation & Timing tools and lab infrastructure. The role requires a strong scientific background in Guidance Navigation & Controls to solve complex problems in the defense and scientific arenas. Key technical requirements include proficiency with MATLAB, Model Based Systems Engineering, and AI. You will work with electronics, circuit design, FPGA design, closed-loop control, and embedded programming using C, C++, Python, and JavaScript. Additional skills include experience with LabView, estimation theory, filtering, data reduction, and microcontrollers to advance advanced guidance technologies.
