Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Resolve complex production issues involving provisioning, billing pipelines, and cross-org data reconciliation.
• Act as the technical gatekeeper and escalation authority for high-risk production changes and incidents.
• Define service health metrics and design instrumentation, alerting, and dashboarding strategies.
• Lead multi-quarter structural fixes and develop auto-detect-and-fix tooling to eliminate manual toil.
• Partner with product engineering leadership to shape roadmap decisions and technical designs.
• Mentor engineers on technologies, processes, and career development while defining codebase standards.
• Define test strategies and automation frameworks that reflect real production risks.
• Lead the adoption of AI-native engineering practices and agentic tools across the software development life cycle.

What we're looking for

• A related technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of technical leadership.
• Expert-level experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, or Python.
• High proficiency in at least one high-level programming language and web framework like NodeJS, Express, or Hapi.
• Proven experience designing observability and monitoring strategies at a system or team level.
• Validated understanding of database technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database schema design at scale.
• Experience designing automated testing strategy and frameworks using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, or Selenium.
• Demonstrated proficiency with agentic coding tools applied across the SDLC (preferred).
