What you'll do

Gather and refine requirements through direct engagement with business users.
Design, implement, and support critical financial applications using Java and Python.
Manage and support existing codebases and the firm's AWS Cloud Infrastructure platform.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Integrate and manage third-party vendor systems for upgrades and issue resolution.

Influence product design and technical operations by advocating for firmwide frameworks and tools.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Robust programming experience in Java, Python, and React JS.
Experience with AWS Public Cloud Technologies and Terraform.
Proficiency in database technologies such as RDS Oracle and RDS SQL Server with strong SQL skills.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on compliant usage.
Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
