What you'll do

  • Design and deliver Order Management, Trade Execution, and trade-processing tooling for Credit Cash and Derivatives products.
  • Build scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and Python.
  • Translate front-office trading requirements into technical solutions and drive adoption across the trading desk.
  • Lead project execution by defining scope, technical approach, delivery plans, and managing risks.
  • Establish engineering standards for software design, code quality, automated testing, and operational resilience.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to build an accountable engineering team.
  • Coordinate with internal technology leads to align platform integration and ensure scalable end-to-end delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Python for building scalable, high-performance backend services.
  • Experience developing modern front-end applications using React, including state management and component design.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized microservices architectures, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Derivative products, specifically Credit and Interest Rate derivatives and their product lifecycles.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while ensuring responsible and ethical use of data.
  • Experience working in distributed systems and high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
