Flight Director Level 3/4, Spacecraft Operations

What you'll do

• Lead a diverse team of operators to achieve mission success.
• Provide mission operations support for NGSS Satellite programs.
• Develop operational documentation for on-orbit checkout and satellite commissioning.
• Conduct testing using simulators and resolve system discrepancies.
• Develop command procedures, telemetry pages, and end-to-end test procedures.
• Monitor vehicle state of health and perform short and long-term telemetry trending.
• Track space vehicle configurations including hardware, software, and configurable parameters.
• Support anomaly resolution and update procedures based on in-flight performance.

What we're looking for

• Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• For Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with experience, Master’s with , PhD with , or experience without a degree.
• For Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with experience, Master’s with , PhD with , or experience without a degree.
• Experience conducting on-orbit mission operations and resolving satellite and ground system anomalies.
• Experience with at least one S/C Subsystem (ADCS, CDH, COMM, EPDS, Thermal, FSW).
• Experience in ground system update and/or maintenance.
• Willingness and ability to support a 24/7 environment while working day/night 12hr shifts.
• Experience with Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPOD) systems (preferred).
• Experience working on government systems and/or government process environment (preferred).
• Prior experience with virtualized deployment of LINUX based ground control software onto a ground system infrastructure (preferred).
• Experience with MAESTRO or RAPTOR command and control software (preferred).
• Familiarity with setting up and creating training and certification program for operators (preferred).
