Flight Director, Amazon LEO - Mission Operations

What you'll do

• Own and execute the overall operational success of the mission at a systems level.
• Coordinate between ground and space engineering teams to achieve mission objectives.
• Design and conduct operational rehearsals for each launch and on-orbit demonstration.
• Drive automation efforts to ensure the constellation functions with no manual intervention.
• Develop concepts of operation for missions and experiments.
• Lead launch and early operations while performing analysis on system data.
• Identify and implement mechanisms to improve fleet productivity and operational excellence.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry.
• 1+ year of prior experience in a spacecraft operations or direct support role.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Technical understanding of space system architecture and subsystem functionality.
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
