What you'll do

Develop low-level firmware for microcontroller platforms and control algorithms for data acquisition tools.
Build software and hardware interfaces using protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, and USB.
Create automated test systems to verify product form, fit, and function.
Debug complex issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
Develop features for embedded Linux, NIX, and various RTOS platforms.
Establish standard operating procedures for production line testing and failure analysis.
Participate in DFT and DFM reviews with electrical engineering and product teams.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
Solid understanding of coding best practices, board bring up, and debugging.
Familiarity with common bus protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience with high/low-speed interfaces, data acquisition (FFT, Bode), and tools like JTAG or Oscilloscopes (preferred).
