What you'll do

Architect and build unified test environments using target-side firmware and host-side Python or LabView frameworks.
Develop C-based microcontroller firmware to expose hardware peripherals and system functions via serial and bus APIs.
Create reusable abstraction layers and drivers for on-board microcontrollers and benchtop lab equipment.
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries in a lab environment.
Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) stations to support automated regression testing.
Support board bring-up, manufacturing test yield, and design for test (DFT) initiatives.
Maintain automated test suites and analyze results to improve product quality and test coverage.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in Python architecture, design, and development.
Experience writing embedded C for microcontrollers to provide test instrumentation and register-level access.
Experience developing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) test systems.
Advanced experience with hardware communication protocols including USB, I2C, I2S, CSI, Ethernet, SPI, PCIe, HDMI, and CAN.
Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line usage.
Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
