What you'll do

Develop solutions for custom CPUs focusing on Linux kernel, boot firmware, and low-level libraries.
Define future high-performance SoCs and platforms.
Create optimizations and drivers for high-performance platforms.
Identify hardware optimization areas in collaboration with the performance team.
Ensure existing operating systems run efficiently and identify performance enhancement opportunities.
Develop software virtual platforms and debugging tools for pre-silicon and on-hardware environments.
Build software to platform standards including UEFI, ACPI, and SystemReady.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of software engineering experience.
4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
Deep understanding of computer architecture, high-performance designs, weak memory models, and the hardware/software interface.
Proficiency in C, assembly language, build systems, and systems programming with Python.
Expertise in developing software virtual platforms, low-level boot firmware, and debugging tools in pre-silicon and on hardware.
Experience building to platform standards including UEFI, ACPI, and SystemReady (preferred).
