What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and troubleshooting for new applications of equipment at customer sites.
Serve as key field support for Beta sites, evaluations, and first-in-fab installations.
Design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and generate reports to optimize device architecture and process modules.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet customer requirements for new technologies.
Develop best known method recipes and partner with hardware engineering to define chamber requirements.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to Field Service Engineers and technicians on repairs and operations.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions and monitor performance trends to improve product quality.

What we're looking for

A PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field is required.
A Master of Science degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
A Bachelor of Science degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience is required.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer relationship skills are required.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment or a suit is required.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities are preferred.
