What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and system improvements for new applications at customer sites.
Serve as key field support for Beta sites, evaluations, and first-in-fab installations.
Design and conduct experiments to analyze data and provide recommendations for optimizing device architecture.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet customer requirements for new technologies.
Develop new process recipes and partner with hardware engineering to define chamber requirements.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to Field Service Engineers, technicians, and customers on operations and repairs.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions and monitor performance trends to improve product quality.

What we're looking for

A PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field is required.
A Master of Science degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience is acceptable.
A Bachelor of Science degree with 6+ years of work experience is acceptable.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment or a suit.
Availability to work on-call if needed.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
