What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and troubleshooting for new applications at customer sites.
Serve as key field support for Beta sites, evaluations, and first-in-fab installations.
Design and conduct experiments to collect data and analyze results for device architecture optimization.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet customer requirements.
Develop best known method recipes and partner with hardware engineering to define chamber requirements.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to Field Service Engineers, technicians, and customers.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions based on monitored performance trends.

What we're looking for

A PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field is required.
A Master of Science degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience is accepted.
A Bachelor of Science degree with 6+ years of work experience is accepted.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer relationship skills are required.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing personal protective equipment and on-call if needed.
3-7 years of etch experience is preferred.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) is preferred.
