What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and troubleshooting for new and existing equipment at customer sites.
Design and conduct experiments to collect data and analyze results for optimizing device architecture.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet specific customer requirements.
Develop new process recipes and define best known methods for hardware modifications.
Partner with hardware engineering to characterize designs and define chamber requirements based on performance goals.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to field service engineers, technicians, and customers during installations and repairs.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions and monitor performance trends to improve process output.

What we're looking for

PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field.
Master of Science degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor of Science degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in computer applications including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective equipment and participating in on-call rotations.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities simultaneously.
