Field Operations Team Lead

What you'll do

• Oversee a team of eight IT professionals to execute core functions including desktop support and technology refreshes.
• Diagnose and restore functionality for desktops, laptops, network services, and printers in a live production environment.
• Manage a rigorous security process for classified assets including movement, storage, inventory, destruction, and team training.
• Audit tickets for all field operations queues to ensure completion of notes and provide team training for shortcomings.
• Drive the creation of standard operating procedures for tech refreshes, routine requirements, and desktop support.
• Coordinate large office standups as the primary interface with customers on timelines, deliveries, and installation expectations.
• Submit incidents and service requests using Remedy and ServiceNow while escalating unresolved issues to senior leadership.
• Communicate inventory levels and asset requirements to support program-level prioritization of hardware.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Must hold a current DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+ CE or higher).
• Active DoD Secret security clearance (or higher).
• Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple teams delivering IT support services.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government and/or DoD customers.
• Proven ability to manage programs effectively and deliver accurate, timely reports to leadership.
• Military experience, particularly in supporting senior military leaders (preferred).
• Master’s degree in IT or a related field (preferred).
