The Federal Oracle Health Automation Engineer - Eggplant joins the Federal Test Automation team to support the Federal VA project. As a Staff Automation Engineer, you will independently design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support regression testing, data generation and population, and interface testing. You will build reliable, reusable automation solutions that improve testing efficiency and coverage while adhering to Oracle methodologies and coding standards. The role requires proficiency with Eggplant and SenseTalk, as well as an understanding of Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium solutions, software development best practices, and quality assurance methodologies. You will troubleshoot automation issues, configure technical solutions, and collaborate with functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of Oracle products and technologies within a federal healthcare technology context.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Eggplant and SenseTalk.
  • Support automated regression testing, data generation, and interface testing for the Federal VA project.
  • Develop reliable and reusable automation solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Configure detailed technical solutions for ongoing projects and Oracle product implementations.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and identify opportunities to improve existing test frameworks.
  • Apply coding standards and quality assurance practices throughout the development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in functional, technical, software testing, or test automation roles.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Understanding of Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium solutions, software development coding best practices, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Eggplant test automation and SenseTalk (preferred); experience with Oracle Health/Cerner test automation (preferred).
