Facilities Operation Manager, Electrical

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and service execution for critical electrical infrastructure.
• Manage electrical plant readiness including preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, and outage coordination.
• Serve as the primary site technical lead for electrical systems and incident escalation.
• Manage facilities technicians, contractors, and service vendors to ensure safety and SLA performance.
• Oversee troubleshooting and restoration for electrical faults, equipment degradation, and operational incidents.
• Track and improve KPIs such as equipment availability, incident trends, and maintenance completion.
• Lead root cause analysis for electrical events and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records including procedures, test results, and CMMS data.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, service execution, or plant operations in mission-critical environments.
• Must have 2–4+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or maintenance execution in live operational environments.
• Must possess strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, transfer equipment, PDUs, grounding, and power distribution systems.
• Must have experience managing maintenance programs, outages, vendor execution, and incident response in live operational environments.
• Must be proficient with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools.
• Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, or acceptance of new electrical systems is preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license where applicable is preferred.
• NFPA 70E training, OSHA 30, and OEM manufacturer training are preferred.
