What you'll do

  • Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.
  • Create information architecture, wireframes, and rapid prototypes for large-scale digital experiences.
  • Design complex multi-step workflows for request intake, approvals, and technical forms.
  • Build interactive prototypes using Figma or HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and contribute to design systems including page templates, components, and navigation patterns.
  • Provide build-ready specifications to development teams for implementation.
  • Present research findings and design recommendations to engineering teams and senior leadership.
  • Validate AI-generated output from design and coding assistants before shipping.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in user experience design, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in user experience design.
  • Experience designing enterprise web applications, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and rapid prototyping.
  • Experience designing complex multi-step workflows, including request intake, approvals, and forms for technical or business users.
  • Experience conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform prioritized design changes.
  • Experience building interactive prototypes in Figma or HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and providing build-ready specifications to development teams.
  • Experience creating or contributing to a design system, including page templates, components, and navigation patterns.
  • Experience using AI design or coding assistants like Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Figma AI, and validating AI-generated output.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
