As a User Experience Designer, Mid, you will join an Agile team to design large-scale digital experiences that are both intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. Working closely with a product manager, you will translate client visions into functional designs while advocating for design-centered improvements. Your daily responsibilities involve the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. To succeed in this role, you must possess skills in visual design and the ability to communicate complex concepts across various organizational levels. The position requires proficiency with tools like Figma or Adobe XD, as well as knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and information management for site usability. This role focuses on creating software and web applications designed to protect civilians within a secure environment.

What we're looking for

Experience with user research and creating intuitive user designs for software or web applications.
Experience creating wireframes.
Experience with visual design.
Ability to communicate design concepts across different audiences and varying levels within an organization.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Experience with UX and user-centered design (preferred).
Experience with Figma or Adobe XD, knowledge of information architecture, and knowledge of web standards like HTML5 and CSS3 (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree.
