Executive Director, Commercial Insights & Analytics, Ophthalmology

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor the Ophthalmology Commercial Insights and Analytics team to solve key business problems.
• Set the strategic I&A direction to align with business unit priorities and drive launch excellence.
• Translate complex analyses into compelling insights and recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Implement novel methodologies and frameworks to inform brand differentiation, market growth, and pipeline potential.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term data, analytics, and insights roadmaps for brand strategies.
• Standardize the adoption of capabilities such as marketing mix, data science, and ML/AI methodologies across the organization.
• Construct and deliver integrated business reviews and I&A summary overviews to the Ophthalmology CBU.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships and oversee the development of internal talent.

What we're looking for

• 20+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience in roles of increasing accountability.
• Prior experience with buy-and-bill brands in highly competitive markets.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in data science, public health, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
• MBA, MPH, or MS degree (preferred).
• Functional expertise in business analytics, customer insights, analog forecast development, market access, and competitive intelligence.
• Prior experience managing I&A groups with responsibility for analytics, customer insights, market access analytics, and competitive intelligence.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercialization.
• Ophthalmology disease category experience (strongly desired).
